Another
one Elephant and Castle's building to be voted as 'most ugly in London.'
Scheduled for demolition in 2010 the shopping centre was originally
painted pink. Access to the shopping centre will probably involve crossing
a busy road or walking through one of the infamous subways. The shops
in the centre are not exactly inspiring, supplimented by a market at the
Northern entrance. There is also a bowling alley and a couple of restaurants.
While the building is certainly run-down, locals worry that the shopping
centre's replacement will be courting big business and price out local
tradesmen.

in the subway show bright images of the natural world in an attempt
to counter the grey monotous concrete above
