| The Superclub/record label/radio station that is Ministry of Sound rightly claim to be one of the biggest influences in the UK dance music scene. The club opened on Gaunt Street in a derelict bus depot in 1991 and the club and the brand have gone from strength to strength. As well as releasing the popular Ministry of Sound Annual Mix CDs the club has produced nights in Ibiza, Egypt and Singapore. While not exactly 'cutting edge' anymore the club is still popular and regularly attracts the biggest names in the dance music industry including Pete Tong, Tony Humphries and Derrick Carter. | |
