| This striking building really stands out from the flats around it with its colourful panels looking like over-sized lego bricks. The building was commisioned by the Peabody Trust to house key workers such as nurses and teachers in London. Prefabricated off-site Baron's Place, while it may not be to everyones taste, goes to show what can be built for relatively little. With demand for new homes increasing rapidly this technique may be the way forward. | |
